looks like its supposed to stop prior to gametime. also, msu's field is one of the best in the country. the school actually developed the turf hybrid thats used, and it has been installed in several other pro and college stadia. don't get the feeling the rain is going to be much of a factor.

Wilson, sec guru put in his post that this game may be played in the rain. Only mentioning this because he is from Madison, MS. Not to far from Starkville. Maybe he will read this and keep us informed closer to kickoff... hope this helps.......happy thanksgiving:D

SOMEWHERE AROUND THE S.E.C.
the rain chances have lessen through out the day, but according to the weather channell might get heavier in the second half. it has been raining in starkville all day, but there is a several hour break at about 3 pm.

ms state field as far as draining is not as good as 1 might think. ive seen sevewral games there, where the water coverd the field for the whole game.

THANK YOU!!!

THANK YOU!!!

Thanks Wilson for starting this thread, and to everyone helping with the RAIN report. I'm trying to get over a bad beating on the Dallas game and this is really helping.....so far!! LOL!!

Keep it Positive, Topdog

PS Hey Bone, We're on the same side of this total!! We Texans and Leos gotta stick together. LOL!! 8-22 I play at least one softball tournament a year in Waco, on those short fields.
