Gentleman,
I have used this forum for several years under the user name YAZ, but forgot my password so I have re-registered because I wanted you all to have this information for what it is worth. My best friend is at the Stadium wearing full rain gear. Why the full rain gear, because it is "POURING," were his exact words. He has been working all day on campus and reported that it has been raining a hard steady since 2am this morning. Loss of power took place this afternoon and it has not stopped coming down since then. He says by the looks of everything and the local reports it will only get worse.
My thoughts are that the only way that Louisville would have any kind of chance to cover the number would be to throw, throw, and throw some more. My friend is a football coach himself and says that anyone would have tons of problems "throwing" in the weather that he is sitting in right now. He made some good points though. He feels that although the passing game should be highly effected by the weather that the weather will also slow down the speed of FSU which is a huge advantage that they have. Therefore the weather may somewhat neutralize them. My feeling is that if the weather slows down FSU it will also slow down Louisville still causing them to have a significant disadvantage at speed.
As you can tell I don't know what the h--- to do with this game and with the weather the way it is it should probably be a no play which is what I am going to do........I loved FSU and the over on a clear normal night....Even with the weather report and advice of my coaching friend in the stands, my gut still says FSU rolls due to defense and special team play in bad weather and because they are that much better then Louisville......My coaching friend doesn't wager on sports AT ALL, but when I told him my over-under was 49' he recommended the under because of the weather........
I AM GOING TO MAKE IT A NO BET, THAT WAY I CAN CHEER FOR LOUISVILLE TO HELP MY HORNS STAY IN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP HUNT.
I hope I could be of assistance as you ALL have been for me!
