Web cams

Had a web cam/microphone installed yesterday in home computer in effort for communications to Asia.
Now that I got it installed can anyone tell me how it works.
I think people corresponding have to have same messenger service like yahoo-msn ect but not sure.
Any instructions or help appreciated.

windows messenger (MSN) 6.1 is the absolute best for VIDEO !

do a yahoo search.
