Brett Favre hasn?t been cleared to return from the concussion he suffered eight days ago and will not be on the field tonight for the Minnesota Vikings.

Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that Favre will be inactive tonight.

That means Joe Webb will get his first NFL start tonight in Philadelphia. Webb is the eighth different rookie quarterback to start in the NFL this season, the most rookies to start at quarterback in a non-strike year since 1977.

Eagles coordinator Sean McDermott's defense could cause major issues for Webb considering the amount of different looks they provide. Some are designed blitzes, other are drawn up to appear like blitzes are coming when they aren't. Philadelphia is tied for 10th in the NFL with 35 sacks, but has a league-leading 23 interceptions. Left cornerback Asante Samuel leads the NFL with seven and right corner Dimitri Patterson has four. Vikings left tackle Bryant McKinnie will have his hands full with Eagles defensive end Trent Cole, who has nine sacks.

Two days after the game was postponed, the field here looks in great shape and the weather is perfect. Clear skies and temperatures in the mid 30s.

Where it is real F ing COLD
tarkington or kramer tonight for the queens???

Wish we had those guys back.. Oh I didnt get a chance to respond to you last week about the fans not showing up last week.

I talked to a few ticket holders for the game who live in Duluth.. They were not going to travel to watch a team that sucks with what everyone thought would of been Webb starting plus they were able to get the credit for the game and apply it to next years season tickets. Makes perfect sense to me
