Kazmir is currently -110

Mike Everitt the home plate UMP :scared
LAA are 10-0 last 10 with Everitt behind the plate
22-10 for the home team in 2009
Home Fav of -101 to -120 in 2009 = 5-0
Yankees 0-3 in 2009 with Everitt behind the dish

LAA has won 74% of the games when Everitt is home plate ump 23-8 to be exact.

Watching the line movement tomorrow. If Yankees hold on the clinch tonight. So tomorrow may be a let down or hangover day for them too.

LAA 1:08am

LAA 1:08am

Just tied it up 5-5. I expect if the Yankees lose this line to flip to NYY as favs. We may get huge value for a SWEEP.

not to mention..Scott Kazmir has remained true to his career and dominated the Yankees in two previous starts this season, coming away with a 2.63 ERA and 0.88 WHIP. The Yankees' .853 OPS (on-base plus slugging) against left-handers is 39 points better than second place -- greater than the difference between second and ninth -- so that's quite the accomplishment. BUT Six Yankees regulars hit below the Mendoza line against Kazmir, so he should keep on rolling.

Geeez

Geeez

You come all the way back from 5-0 to tie it and give up the winning run on a SAC FLY in the top 9th. That sucks for LAA.

I DONT LIKE THIS.

I DONT LIKE THIS.

LESS THAN AN HOUR AGO I HAD KAZMIR -109. NOW IT IS -122 AND 70% OF THE BETS ON LAA. YES THE YANKEES CLINCHED A POST SEASON SPOT BUT THEN HAD DONE THAT WHEN TEXAS LOST BEFORE THEY WON. GIRADRI IS ADAMANT THAT THEY KEEP THIS 6 GAME GAP FOR BEST RECORD IN THE AL.

YANKEES ALL BUSINESS.

YANKEES ALL BUSINESS.

After the clinching, there were no bubbly baths in the clubhouse, only some quick smiles and an orderly filtering to the bus waiting beyond the right-field fence.

THE LINE IS BLOWING UP

THE LINE IS BLOWING UP

-130 in some places. :142smilie

In all seriousness. Put aside Kazmir's numbers vs NYY this year. BURNETT is the better pitcher.

I would think everyone and their brother gunna be on the halos in this one. I may have to put a nice bet on the Yanks here. Everitts stats do make me nervous but aside from Burnett why arent the Halos a bigger favorite here?!? Line ups will sway me :mj03:

Angels are motivated more than the Yankees here and have lots of other factors in their favor today.

NINO not nice good for me I unloaded on Game 1 at +138. and only gave back half in game 2. I always lock in profits. You can like LAA. The way this line has MOVED I do not. Kazmir has cost me 10k+ in big games with the Rays. I KNOW THIS KID INSIDE OUT. Not saying he wont win today but I bet VALUE and %'s. GL BRO.

in the Yahoo article this really sticks out to me, "No champagne. No plastic sheets on the lockers. Just a few handshakes and hugs on the field." Business as usual for the bombers. I hope it keeps going up, going to be a lot of sorry Angel backers I think :00hour

Yankees dont need motivation today

Yankees dont need motivation today

Seeking their first series win in Anaheim since May 18-20, 2004, the Yankees will send A.J. Burnett(notes) (11-9, 4.22) to the mound

It was the Yankees' first win in five games in southern California this year, and several players said it felt like a playoff game.

"To be able to win this game was very gratifying," Girardi said. "This was a tough game with big plays and pitchers making big pitches. To me you want to get in with a win. I congratulated them and expressed there is still work to be done. We know what we want to do."
