Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Tampa Bay at Florida.........................

These two teams commence back to back, home/away meetings. In only meeting this season FL pounded TB 5-0, at TB. They'll want to get back for that one.

TB 9-18-3 away ATS
FL 8-20-1 home ATS

TB scores fewer goals than anyone in NHL, Florida is third lowest. And TB has two of their top scorers out. They responded in last game by neglecting defense and scored like crazy. Don't you love how predictable this game is?

FL 2-6-2 last 10
TB 3-5-2 last 10

Dallas at Nashville............................

Dallas papers say Belfour will start. Turgeon probably won't skate in line with Modano. Lehtinen is game day decision.

Dallas is 1 point behind LA for final playoff spot, but that's only 4 behind Division leader SJ.
Nashville is 10 points behind LA.

last meeting Dallas lost on road to Nash 1-4.
Dallas away PK 81.8
Nashville home PK 92.9

Dallas 3-2 last 5 on road, 14-9-2 for season.
Nash 2-2 last 4 at home, 13-8-6 for season.

Dallas 4-1-2 after 3+ days rest. Nash 3-3.

Calgary at SJ....................................

Calgary 3-7 last 10: 2 wins on road, and a 4-3 win over Detroit at home.

SJ 4-5-1 last 10, 2-2 last 4 at home. Lost to Colorado and LA.

Calgary 5 points out of playoff spot with 3 teams ahead of them--and 15 of next 19 game on road, including nine in a row. Canadian Men's Curling Championship taking up their home digs!

Calgary under hits 6-13 when away.
SJ under hits 6-12 at home.
The two meetings this season went under.
SJ leads series 1-0-1.

NY Rangers at Detroit..........................

Last three meetings, previous seasons, Detroit blew out NYR by combined 20-2 score. Kept them out of playoffs last meeting. One previous blowout was final straw that got NYR coach and GM fired.

Yzerman not expected to play.
Lindros hopes to play, practiced ok. Will be gameday decision. No overnight line yet. A reunited FLY line will be a threat.

NYR 3-6-1 last 10. 3-7 last 10 on road.
Detroit 5-2-3 last 10. 9-0-1 last 10 at home.

NYR power play away 10.9
Detroit home PP 24.1

Detroit scores avg 1.03 more goals at home than NYR does away.
Detroit allows avg 1.10 less goals at home than NYR does away.

Jeeze! how about a Detroit and SJ parlay?

NYR second most penalized team in league, sez "Post". Rangers PK league worst 78.2. And our freinds, Detroit? Second best PP in NHL.

NYR tho always play well after a meeting with NYI.
3-0 this season. Richter was royally embarrased in last game, should be better tonight.

But Hasek is in Olympic training. He gave up 3 goals to Dallas 7 games ago, the most in last 7! He's 1.77 gga with .936 pct last 7.

Lindros is officially a game time decision, sez team website. But covers sez he will play.

Thanks Mo, for your comment and fine work with POD!

I made a mistake in SJ/Calg notes (now corrected).
Calg under hits 6-13 away, not 13-6 as said before. But should hit tonight because trends point to it, and so does Stag!

Turek has been fine lately, and 8-3-1 vs SJ, 2.00 gga with .912 pct.

Oops! Just read in Calgary Herald that Vernon will probably start. He's 1-5-1, 3.16 gga, .877 pct. But started on road against SJ and gave up only two goals. Played 39 mins at home against them and gave up one.

Nabokov is 2-1-1 vs Calgary, 1.69 gga, .925 pct. He's been his inconsistent self of late, but should play well tonight.

SF Chronicle sez SJ will get Ragnarsson back tonight. That will help the slipping PK (and under!).
