Looks like they are going to get me on this one. SA is the best team in the NBA. They proved that against Dal when they put their fate in the hands of a 37 year old vet that hadn't played hardly at all in the play-offs but he proved to be what they needed at the time. They have better talent all they way around and better coaching. NJ's success or lack of it will depend too much on Kidd. Jason will have to score for NJ to beat SA and that scares me. He has never been a consistant scorer. Yes, he might be the best all around point guard in the NBA and he might score at times but he can also be pretty bad in the scoring department at times. Martin has been impressive so far but in this series he will have to show he can hit the 15 foot jump shot on a consistant basis. I don't think he can do it. I think Dal played SA as good as anyone could and look what happened to them. This will be the first time in the play-offs that NJ will be confronted with this much highth on the front line where everyone can score, rebound and block shots. It is going to be interesting to see what game plan Scott comes up with tonight. Personally, I would push the ball at SA as hard as I could.
I think that Vegas is getting exactly what they want with the big city money from the east going on NJ. The line movement on the total looks like the way to go.
