In looking at the Wash/NY game I noticed a few things that are interesting. Home dogs this year are 14-11. They are 13-1 winning straight up when covering. In fact on the year, all dogs are 43-18 winning straight up when covering. One criteria I use shows that in this position the fav is 6-6 on the year but here's what is interesting, The winning favs were all home teams and the winning dogs were road teams. Another criteria shows the road team with a 8-6 margin but 4 of the road winners were favs. A little confusing for my liking but if I was going to play the dog I believe it would be on the ml.
