WLA totals went 5-2-1 yesterday. Could have put Cedarstrom in the mix yesterday and got another winner but since he was coming off a push his last game and that leans to the under I didnt post Tor as a over. Today there's a couple of things to watch for if you can find out the umps before game time. I would like to know how Terryray had those umps early day before yesterday. One is Barrett. He loves real big dogs and there are several today. If we were lucky enough to get him in say, TB it would be nice. Also, whatever game Hohn's crew is working should go over so watch out on those unders. Charlie Reliford is due for a under.

Nolan mentioned this last year and I havn't seen it this year (hope I didn't just miss seeing it). It concerns the consensis thread of thisisbad's. He puts a hell of a lot of work into that thread to help all of us. There are some great cappers who go to the trouble to post their top play everyday. Now here are the pitfalls. It is no contest and shouldn't be regarded as one. Any capper can get red hot or turn ice cold when posting only one play a day and at the end of the year there will be at least twenty cappers that would have made you money if you had followed them. Now here is the problem. Do not piggy-back in that thread. I screws up everything. If you do your own work and have a top play, post it. I mean even if your way of cappin consists of a consensis of different cappers on the net it still becomes your play but to post something just because one of the hot cappers at the moment has it as his pick just screws up everything. With the great talent we have here at Jack's, it's my feeling that the consensis POD should be hitting at a much higher per centage than it is so if it's not really your play don't post and give yourself a better shot at making money at the end of the day. I hope I haven't stepped on anybody's toes but here at Jack's it's always been about making money at the end of the day. Good luck

I think you brought up an excellent point, and that is the reason i stopped posting in that thread. All i was doing was piggybacking someone else, and like you said that doesn't help. The thread was not started as a contest but as a "what is your best play" and i hope it is treated as such.

I won't go into it anymore as i think you covered it quite well. Thanks for chiming in.

mlb.com posts the umps anywhere from 1 hour to 5 minutes before game time. if you goto the scoreboard, they will list pregame lineups and a link to that info (which contains the ump info) when it becomes available. it's not always correct,
and sometimes the yahoo scoreboard beats them to the punch.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I agree with all you said gsp!

and your comments and info TIB and sdf.

Many thanks for your work TIB!

and on the umps, sometimes the "log" at sportsnetwork scoreboard beats yahoo and mlb--but not often. those are the three I use.

I will be here today doing the umps. Nine of 'em around 7pm est. will be busy!.......

Excellent point GSP..........that is exactly why I have only a few plays posted per month. They are mine and not someone else's. A bunch of piggy-backing just doesn't make any sense and I know it will just give a snowball type effect. If it isn't a "special" play, I won't post it. And, yes, a lotta work goes into keeping those stats. Thanks thisisbad. THE HITMAN

Going with

Stl -135
Mets +130
Tor o 8

Going against a 75% trend because of you Fly. Reliford is a decent over ump but I would usually pass. Everyone at BG is on the under and that is encouraging.

Good luck everyone
