More goalie guesses today, doing this early. post any updates. all 3pm est games.
Florida---Hurme? Luongo had last start, lost, and they play at Denver tomorrow. so my guess is Hurme.
FL is 7-6-5 on 1 day rest, under hitting 11-5.
New Jersey---Brodeur it should be....He's 0-3 this season in next game after a shutout (2-1-1 last season)....22 of 35 NJ games this season have ended in ties or decided by one goal---So Brodeur has to be sharp, not relaxing after a shutout...He's 18-6-7 vs FL, 2.01 gga, .917 save pct with 3 shutouts
..FL is 7 for 61 on PP since Thanksgiving, NJ is third in league for PK.....NJ is 9-1 vs FL last 10 (going back to jan '00)
Phoenix----Burke, I assume.
Washington----WA Post sez "Backup goalie Sebastien Charpentier is slated to start Wednesday's game against Phoenix. . . . "....He's 3-4-0-0 this season, .916 save pct....
WA over is 10-5 at home, but PHX over is 6-16 away.
Colorado----Roy is my guess, using Aebischer for tomorrow vs FL. Roy almost never starts on consecutive days.
Colo is 1-1-1-0 vs Preds this season (10-4-5-0 all time), and over 2-1--the under was the one meeting at Nash........Sakic didn't make this trip, but team is 5-1-1 without him....over has hit 7-3 last 10 meetings, but Nash over is 3-13 at home.
Nashville---Vokoun, it should be.
I did guess right yesterday that NYR would show up after embarrassing loss. They are something like 4-0-1 in this situation, nearly always a dog too.....and Detroit did show Mr NHL Player of the Week who da boss is---chased him from the net! too bad I didn't put too much on these....
good luck and happy New Year to all!
