Hudson Valley area.....NY
TCU +2.5 over Texas ****
think wrong team is favored..Texas won last matchup 62-61 at TCU... Texas has now lost 4 in a row and 7 of last 9..they are 4-8 in conf and just got beat by Iowa St who is in last place or near the bottom 81-52..Tex lost its best player Simms in the middle ,there best outside shooter Ferbes and there pt gd Coleman is questionable tonite with a sore heel..they rank almost last in off rebounds and can't hit FT"s..there is no question Shaka will be fired...there defense was there strength but after watching them Saturday vs Iowa st is was unreal.. Iowa got open looks the entire game..and with Sims missing you could attack the hoop..in last 3 or 4 games Texas hasn't scored over 60 pts...turnovers,shoot 3's all day and missing...there s a reason they don't get to the foul line..they shoot jumpers from the outside...Sims will be replaced by Hamm at 6'8 and Hepa at 6'9.. but Heppa wants to be a guard..I like Ramey the pt gd but he gets out of control and turns it over.. Coleman can penetrate and pass but loves pulling up for a 3...Shaka will let some of his freshmen play tonite but these guys aren't impact players...maybe in a year of 2 but not tonite...
Meanwhile TCU isn't very good this yr..they are 7-5 and have trouble scoring..had a losing streak but beat K-st the other day..they do have 6'11 Samuel in the middle who is one of the best post players in the conf..and Bane who is the best pure shooter in the B-12..think TCU will attack the Tex post defense all day and then kick it out to Bane who will shoot and untested shot...you know Bane is good because most of his shots are swishes .. TCU will play 4 gds and one center.. all the gds are 6'4 and 6'5...
TCU's coach Jamie Dixon was hired by Del Conte who is now the AD at Texas but was at TCU before Dixon coached at Pitt...I know Shaka has a big buyout clause but I think Dixon will be the next coach at Texas..
I think TCU wins outright.. not sure of moneyline
doglover going to the game hopefully I'm not in Section 80,row 21 seat 10...think that seat is closet to Fort Worth

Siena -6 over Iona **
Siena is 13-0 at home.. but Iona has awoken some what... but there defense is still asleep ..remember Sleepy Hollow where Washington Irving wrote Rip Van Winkle was only 10 miles from Iona and Siena is at the foot of the catkills where we think Rip fell asleep for 20 years...
