Deciding factors for me in these games:
Cubs vs righty starters on the road are 24-19 compared to Reds at home vs righty starters who are a dismal 11-30.
Kerry Woods is a career 4-0 vs Reds and what is crucial in this game is Home Plate Ump Marvin Hudson..Hudson has a Large strikezone only calling an average of 5.8 Walks per game. This is gonna help Woods who is a big strikeout pitcher.
Under on Atlanta-Philly: Although both pitchers have struggled abit of late, facing these teams this year, they have pitched great. Coggin is 1-0 with an era of 1.29 vs the Braves this year and even though Burkett is 0-1 vs the Phils, his era is only 2.40 against them. Home Plate Ump Phil Cuzzi is a Big UNDER UMP. 19 out of 28 games this year have gone Under and last year was no different with 20 out of 33 going Under.
Texas has a lot of value I feel today. Although they have a bad record this year, they are 17-13 vs Righty starters this year. Even though it looks like a bit of a mismatch pitching wise, Texas seems to hit Hudson very well. Hudson is only career 3-3 vs Texas and this year is 0-2 with a 5.52 era. Davis on the other hand is 2-0 this year vs Oakland with an era of only 1.32 and is also 3-1 career vs the A's.
