Been too inconsistent overall but have been hitting the weekday night plays at about 75 percent, for what its worth...

Hard not to love the Hokies here. Let's look at the facts:

--The Hokies are 11-0 ATS in their last 11 conference wins when playing with revenge. The Su winner in this series is 8-1 last 9 meetings.

--VT is racking up 250 yards on the ground per game and has a QB who has been extremely sharp. They're averaging 45 points and haven't scored less than 35. On defense theyre allowing 14 points, and just 89 rushing yards (2.6 per carry).

--WVU is a run-dominated team with a QB who can't consistently hurt you downfield. They'll have to run the ball against this dominant VT front. Good Luck with that.

--WVU got killed at MD and lost at home to Wisky and Cincy and is 0-3 ATS at home.

--The overlook factor? VT has Miami next week. But I don't think they will realistically overlook a team that beat them last year, let alone on national TV.

I see VT taking it to a far less talented team. The fans will be rowdy, but if VT goes up early it won't be a factor.Only danger in my mind is the backdoor cover. A few weeks ago they were killing Rutgers, then put all their subs in and let them score like 20 2H points.

Don't see any way VT scores less than 35 -- at a BARE minimum. If they do that, they only way they wouldn't cover is if WVU scores 21 or more, which would mean an OVER.
