nj/bos.....Van Horn has over a quarter of the team's points, but he also has 4 fouls. Nj has a lot of turnovers and a lot of fouls....this is generally a sympton of fatigue, stupidity and/or laziness. Whichever it is, it will be hard to change in the lockeroom.


This is a big play for me right now.....if someone can spot flaws in my analysis, I'll back off......otherwise......Boston -1.5 for 4 units. I smell blowout, so I would lean under the 96.5 for 1 unit.

Be careful trusting any one website's stats. Some sites show Van Horn with 3 fouls; at least one shows 4 fouls.

It can be a risky proposition....but this site: http://snap.stats.com/fenwaydir/premium/sfabk/boxscores/2002031302.asp has been great thus far.

If the to's and the fouls are correct, that's the most important stat for me.

stats.com is a good site but they have their problems too. I'm leery of trusting their foul count because the total fouls don't add up correctly.

That's true...I did some quick adding some of other figures and they were all correct, but the fouls are definitely off.

I was also assuming bad/tired defense from celts 3pt % and number of foul shots. I hope they got enough of the stats right. We'll see......good observation!!

I like the Orl/phoe over 97.5. usually look to go under. Teams combined for 95 shots....even if shooting % drops significantly, they'll still get over. Phoenix would be the team that would want to slow down, but if they're behind, they really can't. over for 2 units. trend has been lately that getting blown out continue to get blown out. orl -2 for 1 unit.

I got Houston +8.5 so I'm not touching that....but if were make a wager, it would be on minny. Wally and Garnett had poor halves. team has 10 to's....the post guys have 9 of them...what's up with that?? Just get the ball and shoot it!! I image that's what the guys are hearing right now....I love the way Houston plays the game, but ya gotta figure more often than not they'll lose in this situation.
