Buf got blown out in 2nd half by TxAM last week...McCrea didn't play very well in that game but is the best player in the other MAC...Oldham is back and Regan can rebound...Niagara lost 2 of its best players to Hofstra where there coach went..Mason is the big stud in the other MAAC and had 34 pts pts in there last game..{almost half of their total pts vs Seton Hall...both teams lost last week..think Bulls have a much better team,more depth and McCrea if he wakes up tonite...
Providence -13 over Brown **
Brown upset Prov last yr at home but the Bears on the road @ Prov have a bad history..last few years they lost 91-64,78-62 and 86-62...Cooley has his Friars ready with Cotton and Henton...he had 37 pts lasy yr in that game..Brown has McGonagill one of the top gds in the Ivy and a front line of players that are tough inside...but Batts should be able to control the paint...with Regan too.
What an ending to the Manhattan-Columbia game
Manhattan won 71-70 in a crazy ending...MC up 4 or 5 with 4 minutes...looking good..Columbia comes back and is up 3 with 17 seconds left.....with 4 seconds left Columbia still up by 3,,fouls Alvardo shooting a 3.....3 ft's...he missed the 1st....makes the 2nd.....now he has to miss the next FT on purpose...he throws a brick up..misses... MC's Beamon gets the offensive rebound and puts it in on a put back...scored tied but he gets fouled doing it...{ I need overtime}... ..with 0.5 on the clock he sinks it for a 1 pt win..71-70..Beamon shot 13-14 from the FT line...Alvardo, Manhattans top FT shooter shot 3-11...that's all she wrote...
