Scouts say Cook should have excellent season, El Duque not made for Coors--fly ball, not the defense he had last year, gives up lotta walks (got lucky his trip here last year)....very hittable pitchers there at Cinci, good bats and park for it...Duke is perfect pitcher to avoid sweep, Pitt has been playing well---oops!--decided to can the Pitt bet. Duke had poor spring and I'm afraid of the typical sophmore year-like letdown. Milk team chemistry the real thing.
more hittable pitchers at LA, ATL defense and pen not what it used to be--but bats are better for both teams. won't be long before the lines catch up with this! Gagne not available. Perez not good numbers last 3 Aprils.
notice how WBC pitchers that did well started out poorly in MLB? Garcia, Santos-- aforementioned Perez and Chan Ho Park next!
Radke's slide should continue, tho his velocity up a bit this spring...those Toro bats the real deal!
