perils of posting plays early.....I read in USA Today hours after I posted here that Lewis is in danger of being sent down with bad game. Last time this was reported he turned in his only decent start of late (defeating NYY). So I switched my posted over to an under in real life, and took TX too---and too far from any computer to alert folks here!
sometimes I later realize something too. Sat, hours after I posted, I remembered that Knotts (Detroit) loves pitchers duels. I'll tell this now incase I forget again--- so you won't forget! numerous times he's said how he likes to "feed off" the other guy and such. So I realized a monster under with Loaiza as the feeder, and bet it big!
still, early posting is nice---I can still stay well in positive figures with only a few occasional postitive corrections.
I will somedays now hang by computer in afternoons instead of heading to Casino. Read more hometown newspapers and watch for HP ump info.
under 7.5 Pitt +104
Pitt +189
GM1 Montreal (Hernandez) -114
Toro -159
TB -109
D'Amico has superb numbers vs Cubs last three seasons. No Sosa and power outtage. Prior will be extra sharp coming off a bad start. Cubs now 3-6 when opening at -200 or greater! (similar results last season too)
Livan, very sharp of late, I expect to be even sharper pitching before many of his countrymen today. Phelps can keep up, but won't go too far, then FL pen vs Livan--and we got a clear winner here.
Toro on a roll and got the pitching edge today.
TB has this fine Gonzalez kid going bettors will wise up to soon, and TB can hit, esp at home, esp against Benes.
1-2 last posting, -1.18 units. Now 4 losing days in last 17. I'm tryin for more consistency this season, don't like the bankroll rollercoaster...
that takes it to +14.24 units overall (105-87-2)
preseason MLB pics posted here: 22-10-2 (+10.29 units)
all (but one two unit so far) flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).
parlay pics: 0-9
any comments?
good luck to everyone!!
