Got lucky in the last game with a 179' line. Hope I stay lucky. Bos outplayed Det in every cat except shooting. Question, how can Kenny Anderson get only 2 assists in 34 min playings with Walker and Pierce? Personally, I like Delk better. Can Det hit 12 threes again? I doubt it. Will Walker and Pierce shoot 35 %? I doubt it. Will this game go over? Now this gets a little trickier. As bad as Walker and Pierce shot they still were only 11 points below their combined season ave but a couple of guys were over their ave. Rogers also had a terrible shooting night but to be safe lets give Bos another 11 points. That makes Bos 95. Det always has one bad qt but other than that scores in the mid 20's. Anything over 16 in their bad qt should put the game over. Bos has no reason to change their run and gun game plan and at this point neither does Det. If it don't go over it will only be because both teams are shooting terrible.

I am going to make this comment at this time. In playing totals you had better remember this. The refs control the flow of the game. They can speed up or slow down any game any time they want. The right foul at the right time. If they allow hard fouls, the worst defender in the league can look pretty good and the game slows down. If they call the ticky-tack foul the d losens up and both teams can get in sync. In the play-offs the rebs don't mess with which team wins but they will sure mess with the totals. Look at the totals at the end of the year in the three major sports and see how close to 50-50 they are. If you think Vegas is that good then you are probably losing.

Bos +2
o 180

Good luck everyone

I don't recall you being a second half player, so you may not be able to answer this.....I asked this question of Sneaks........do the refs adjust their styles during the game? Will they call a looser game in the second half if they've called a lot of fouls in the first half? Sneaks replied that generally, refs don't adjust and neither do the players. Is there a difference in the refs playoff mentality vs. regular season.

I'm trying interpret what you're saying, because it's not clear to me. It almost sounds like you're saying refs manipulate totals on purpose. Did I miss something here?
