The play of the day is the Chicago Cubs -145 Elmer Dessens is not good, he has some quality outings but he usually doesnt start well the year, he only had one outing against the cubs last year and he pitched very well that is why this line is not 200. Cincinnati already won their last season opener at cinergy field, i bealieve there is good value here.

San Francisco -105 the only reason i can think of La being favored is the return of Hideo Nomo to Los Angeles, other than that i cant find one, Barry Bonds is in shape as he showed yesterday and Ramon Ortiz might be their best starter, i dont like La's ofensse.

Florida Even Aj Burnnet will be ready for this game, he will start the season as he did last year, he started in may but he'll be as tough as he was then, he has a good era against Montreal and Tony Armas Jr doesnt have a good one against Florida, Montreal started this year with a different attitude they want to win, and they will win more games than last year, they just wont win tonday.
