YTD 64-44, +37.63 Units
Somebody slap me:look:, what an incredible nite! Still a little dumbfounded by it. Hopefully this nice streak will go on a little longer and we can all profit from it
. On to today! One big play, I think this line will move thruout the day
......
Craps PL-115 x3
I came close to making this a 4 unit play, but sweeping the board last nite has me a little gun-shy, ironically. It just sets up too nicely for a big play. Everything I have on this game is so one-sided, it's scaring me a little bit. A little too good to be true, maybe?? None-the-less, this is the strongest play of the year for me so far. It's not a "L" word by any means, though, as there's no such thing. So I would treat this just like any other 3 unit play I have put out. Remember to stick to your money management, it's a long season.
Here's my take on this game......
The ONLY thing I'm concerned about is Wash is not a good team. Without Kono, their best 2-way player and captain, a lot of their heart and soul is taken away. Jagr is now the "supposed" El Capitan on the ice(even though the team announced they will have 6 AC's instead), and it remains to be seen if he will step up his game, as he's certainly capable of dominating a game on any given nite. Also there're a lot of trade rumor swirling around involving Godzilla, Jagr, Gonch. Not sure how the team will play with so much off the ice news going on.
The good news is that apparently Witt had a Halloween party at his house, and after the players all showed up, it turned into an unofficial impromptu players meeting. Teams usually perform well after a closed door meeting, especially when the coach is not involved, IMO.
That being said.....
The Quacks will be playing B2B OTR, 3rd in 4, 4th in 6, 5th in 8, 6th in 10, 7th in 11, and 8th in 13. Short travel from NY to Wash, but they had to travel from the West coast to the East coast on Sunday. Giggy should start, but he's been very NOT "getting Giggy with it", LOL. Even if Gerber starts again, he's never started B2B games in his career, and LY had 2 starts with 1 day rest, going 0-2. Wash, on the other had, falls into a nice angle of playing a home team in its 1st home game after a disappointing road trip, 0-5-1, losing their L5. What Wash has going for them is that this will only be the 3rd game for them since Oct 18, and had a nice 3 day rest before this game.
Also look at the strength of opponents for each team. Ana had to face Bos, SJ, Phi, Buf, Chi, NYR, vs Wash who had to play OTR vs Tor twice, Mont, Dal, StL, Ottawa in their L6. Wash without a doubt had a much harder strength of schedule than Ana, and facing a tired Ana squad should be a major advantage for Wash.
Some nice numbers to add to the fire......
Quacks LY off of no days rest 6-11 ATS
Quacks LY 0-7 in G2 of B2B OTR off a WIN, and over the L3Y 2-10-1 in G2 of B2B OTR off a Win
Here's the clincher......
Quacks LY 1-8-1 in G2 of B2B OTR, and over the L3Y 5-26-4, they didn't get their 1st win LY until 2-26 @Fla
SO......if the numbers, fatigue factor, and strength of schedule dictate, the chances of this game ending in a tie or a Craps Loss is very slim. Very tempted to throw 4 units (max) on it, but the above mentioned probs with Wash is the only thing holding me back.
Feedback is welcome
. Good luck tonite, everyone!!!!!!
