PITTSBURGH (K.Wells) +220 HOUSTON (Clemens)

Roger Clemens has made a smooth transition to the

NL, but he's not going to win 'em all, and Pittsburgh's

standout righthander Kip Wells (2.97 ERA) is more than

capable of making this a close low scoring affair. So far

the Astros have not distinguished themselves in home

games vs. righthanders (-$450) while the Pirates have

posted a very respectable +$550 as a visitor. Houston is

playing well but we continue to hold that they are wildly

overpriced. Tonight's game is another prime example.

Chicago W. Sox at Toronto (3) 7th, 8th, 9th

The Blue Jays dropped 3 out of 4 last week at Comiskey (-$235) and considering how much trouble the Blue Jays have at Skydome (only 1-8, -$1020 so far this year, -$1190 in 2003), they?ll be lucky to salvage a single victory in this series. The White Sox have looked sharp so far (15-9, +$635 overall) and they?ve got a pair of southpaws in Mark Buehrle (+$230) and Scott Schoeneweis (+$245) who should both be available to shut down the Toronto attack (Blue Jays only 1-6, -$655 vs. lefties with 2.9 RPG). BEST BET: Buehrle/Schoeneweis.

I thought the same thing. The analysis doesn't even sound like something Ray would write.

Pretty sure that...

Pretty sure that...

Raymond cuts and pastes from Winning Points quite often. I believe he has made mention of this before.
