My "screwy line of the day award" goes to the entire Dal/Port game, both sides and totals. I have capped this game everyway I can think of and come up with Dal anywhere from +1 to - 4. It would take 2 Dal starters being out to justify Dal +3'. On the totals I come up with Port 110 and Dal 109 but when I factor in everything I use when cappin totals I come up with under 206. I have two strong trends that call for the over up to 209 at which time it becomes an under play. This is a little too tight for me. When the line is over 200 a 3 point margin is nothing.

A few of my leans are Orl +1 adv, Phoe +1 adv and GS +1 adv. I sure like Chi tonight but I keep coming up with Char able to give up to 11. Could Chi with all their young players be the Clipps of last year? Take them at home getting 4 or more and duck them on the road. Then you look and they have covered 6 out of their last 7 and pushed the seventh. Have won 3 out of 4 with wins on the road over LAL and Sea. Is Cartright this good? If he keeps it up I'll put him in for "Coach of the Year", no, "Coach of the Decade" would be more fitting.

I've noticed Dallas lines being off all year. I used to think it was because Finley was out, but that's not it. Only thing I can see is maybe there's some thinking that Nash/Nowitzki are burned out from the All-Star game plus second road game back to back.

Bulls went deep into the bench last night so back to back shouldn't be much of a problem. Overall talent is an entirely different issue.

For what it's worth.

Chi +9
GS +2
u 195

I don't believe Ky can give Vandy 18 and take anything home. In fact, I wouldn't bet on Ky giving anyone 18.

Riceman, +1 means that with the current line this team has a slight adv. +2' to 4 is best. Over 4 it becomes screwy and I get very cautious. Last night my +1s hit and my +2 (which I bet) didn't.

Good luck everyone

Tony, I wish my man thought the way you do but I'll guarentee you that he don't. Talked myself right into Chi after posting that Char could give up to 11 and still cover. Deserve to lose but doing something dumb once in a while keeps me on my toes.

i'm sorry Joe i was thinking Clev. My reason for not playing Chicago was that the line seemed dead on to me. char being the poor home team that they are, and with Chi beating LA and MILL SU in there own houses it was still fresh on the public's mind.

I wish i only would have layed more on Port i was licking my lips when i saw that line yesterday morning. Definitely shaded.

By the way 66% aint all that bad ;)

2/13: NCAAB KY commentary was right on. this KY team is a definate ATS "suspect" team. not trying to tout a VAN team but, that lumber was too high. KY gets immediate value in the publics eye based on history, etc... KY is a team of individuals. much like my home state IU. not excited about either of these NCAAB teams the rest of the way and in the tournament.

CHI was "somewhat" in the CHA game early on and through the 2Q. not having miller and robinson in the 2nd half was a death blow. this team is playing with a lot of heart though. cartwright has them believing they can win. playing without anthony, mercer and oakley has been a blessing. keep an eye on them getting 8+ points.
