I had an appendicitis when I was 14, but thankfully, my pediatrician was competent and I was sent directly to surgery. that's such an easy procedure now compared to back then in 1985; too bad yours wasn't caught in time. Hope all is well!
Done with anti-biotics (my stomach is extremely thankful)... had a CT scan yesterday and finally got the OK to get my drainage tube taken out (which was 3 weeks of fun
).Appointment with the surgeon next week to decide when and if I will have it removed (I'm thinking March).
I plan on having my first beer in 25 days (but who's counting?) tonight. So life is good.
