My Niece is getting Married in a couple of weeks in Upstate NY. She's been living with her future Husband for a couple of years now so they have all the basics and are renters. Outside of giving cash (while still an option) what are some other ideas :shrug:


She's a Music Teacher
He does Bookkeeping

Do you know where they are doing their honeymoon? You could pay for an activity near where they are going, like say snorkeling or something if it is some place tropical.

I guess first of all see if their registered somewhere, maybe you can find something on the list for them that they actually want. Actually want is the key here. Or something that they will have and cherish for years to come like a nice piece of crystal. The nicest chrystal in my opinion is Lalique crystal from France........they will be very impressed with anything Lalique..........good luck.

No Honeymoon at this time as she is teaching (poorly planned imo).....But something fun in their area might be an option :0008

Don't give cash........give them something they'll remember you by...........and what's $100 anymore. If you ask them in a year what you gave them they won't remember. Give them something they'll look back on and know it was from you.
