2-3 last night with the wolfpack the biggest disappointment. overall record 51-39, 5-0 double plays. i try to limit my plays on the pack and when i miscall one it gripes me to no end. not sure if it's logic or delusion but the fact that the pack still led after missing 20 straight fg attempts make me feel like the play was somewhat reasonable. needless to say, i was very disappointed in the way sendek handed the team last night.

one early play for tonight and then i'll be back with the rest:

e ky +9: think we're getting some line value here after last night's rout, although it's difficult to get a good feel for the colonels because of their weak schedule. but last night was an emabarrasment for the team and coach. most of these kids are from the surrounding area and had friends and family at the game; coach travis ford played pg for pitino at ky. looked to me like they walked out in front of 20,000 fans for the first time ever and got a little case of stage fright, end result being a pounding by an ever-improving cardinal team. no doubt in my mind that these guys will want to atone for that showing. on the other hand, wright state has got to be let down, letting a big first half lead slip away vs the jaspers, and now playing some rinky-dink school from richmond, ky at 5:30 in the afternoon, starting in front of an empty house with fans shuffling in during the game looking for their seats. a little risk here as wright st has the better athletes, but i believe the superior effort will come from e ky tonight, at leat enough to keep them within a half-dozen or so.

back with the rest in a few.

the rest:

the rest:

youngstown st +6-: this line influenced by y st's 17 game road losinfg streak back over last season, but this is an improved team this year. duq now 1-5, losing last two home games to cle st and mt st mary's, two teams arguably worse than youngstown. to boot, duquesne lis coming off an 11 day exam layoff and leaves in the morning for a ten day road trip to puerto rico and miami to play in holiday tourneys. hard to imagine they're focused on this game.

s ala +20-: our typical big name sticker-shock; i make a line around 14.

so ill +3-: 49er's are an improving team, and certainly are much better playing at home, but they just worked their asses off to beat miami by 5, and the hurricanes are not in the same league as the salukis.

c mich +5-: bradley not dominating in peoria this year; cmich playing very disciplined ball of late. bradley leading scorer phillip gilbert playing with injured right index finger on shooting hand. see this one going to the wire.

tenn-chat +2-: i'm sure no one is surprised with me playing the mocs; i'll be playing them every time i see them as a home dog until that approach breaks me. kent center doubtful, probably out with recently dislocated shoulder.
