2-3 last night with the wolfpack the biggest disappointment. overall record 51-39, 5-0 double plays. i try to limit my plays on the pack and when i miscall one it gripes me to no end. not sure if it's logic or delusion but the fact that the pack still led after missing 20 straight fg attempts make me feel like the play was somewhat reasonable. needless to say, i was very disappointed in the way sendek handed the team last night.
one early play for tonight and then i'll be back with the rest:
e ky +9: think we're getting some line value here after last night's rout, although it's difficult to get a good feel for the colonels because of their weak schedule. but last night was an emabarrasment for the team and coach. most of these kids are from the surrounding area and had friends and family at the game; coach travis ford played pg for pitino at ky. looked to me like they walked out in front of 20,000 fans for the first time ever and got a little case of stage fright, end result being a pounding by an ever-improving cardinal team. no doubt in my mind that these guys will want to atone for that showing. on the other hand, wright state has got to be let down, letting a big first half lead slip away vs the jaspers, and now playing some rinky-dink school from richmond, ky at 5:30 in the afternoon, starting in front of an empty house with fans shuffling in during the game looking for their seats. a little risk here as wright st has the better athletes, but i believe the superior effort will come from e ky tonight, at leat enough to keep them within a half-dozen or so.
back with the rest in a few.
