over (54.5) 1 unit. hate myself for betting on this game. and i completely flip-flopped on the side and total. maryland has pretty much won the games they were supposed to win. and VT is down to their 3rd string qb, who has completed 7 passes this year for 42 yards. and 28 of those were on one play. HOWEVER, blumrick is a good runner. he saw significant playing time in one game, against miami. and he ran for 122 yards on 20 carries. they still won't have much threat of a passing game, which will really hurt them if they fall behind. but i have a strange feeling that somehow they are going to put up some points. or maybe maryland will win 63-0 and i'll push on the game.

this is so confusing. for a few years, the cheez-it bowl was the bowl in arizona that is now the guaranteed rate bowl. but now it's this game in florida. because i know y'all want more deets... "It was first played in 1990 in Miami Gardens, Florida, before moving to Orlando in 2001. Originally commissioned as the Sunshine Classic, it has undergone several name changes due to changes in sponsorship, which have included Blockbuster (1990?1993), Carquest (1994?1997), MicronPC (1998?2000), Florida Tourism (2001), Mazda (2002?2003), Champs Sports (2004?2011), Russell Athletic (2012?2016), Camping World (2017?2019) and Cheez-It (2020?present)."

iowa st TT over (21.5) 2 units. just a huge motivational edge here. sure, iowa st may have dreamed bigger than the cheez-it bowl, but clemson expected to be right back in the hunt for the NC. and with hall out, maybe iowa st will open up the offense a little. there is a rumor that the clemson defense will be replaced by the marching band.

oregon TT over (27) 3 units. ok, i finally can't pick a side. if thibodeaux was playing, i'd be on the ducks. they are going to score on a weak oklahoma defense. but without thibodeaux, it's hard to imagine oregon getting many stops.
