YTD: 17-10 (+29.2*)

10* Florida St -11
I could not believe this line when I first saw it. Still can't. There is no way Ole Miss can keep up with FSU in Tallassee. My only reservation is that the best player on the floor will probably be the Rebs' Justin Reed, a 6-8 PF who is a 4th year starter and leads the Rebels in scoring and rebounding. He will be a factor. Other than him, Ole Miss is over-matched. Rebs' two starting guards are true freshmen, and the Noles senior duo of Tim Picket and Nate Johnson will pick their pockets clean. Only other threat Rebels have is senior 6-7 wingman Aaron Harper who, when hot, is one of the best 3-point shooters in the land. If he's not hot, though, he can get lost. FSU, meanwhile, have talent and experience at forwards with Anthony Richardson and Michael Joiner. Ole Miss has to use a 6-6 junior college transfer at center. Noles have a couple of more experienced guys to plug the middle. FSU is an experienced and talented group, and have a top-rated recruiting class itching for action and providing strong depth. Ole Miss has 6 new players on the team, and have not exactly become a cohesive unit on either end of the floor. Only way Noles could possibly lose would be if they came out flat and Reed and Harper both had outstanding games for the Rebs. What I think will happen is that Florida St will win this one by 20 easily.

Probably more games later.

i have been an ole miss fan for a while along with the tide and have been a season ticket holder until 2yrs ago. ole miss is crapp on the road, year after year even going back to rob evans. Harper is a bad man when he is on but he usuallly is only on at home. reed is a frustrating player to watch, played against him in hs when he was a soph and he has always been that player that tries to shoot jumpers but cant shoot. he will be the only player down low with the departure of jon gunn to delta state. barnes will continue to run players offf like jonathan lowe, gunn, josh hayes, darren brown, and i know i am forgetting a few and ole miss will go back to the way they played in the pre-evans era if barnes doesnt get fired. i like the guy but his players dont, and i have never been impressed in his ability to develop players. i have watched players with great potential like reed and david sanders, gunn never progress from year to year. sorry for ranting
like the play gonna smash it.

id love to join ya, but florida state stinks too -- so i cant lay chalk with a bad team. for real, i hope you hit it. but fsu has never been a good hoops program and --while they finally have some talent thats stuck around and developed -- i cant lay points, let alone DD pts with em.

First time I ever had fans of the school I was against saying, "Pound it! Pound it!" :)

If all the Ole Miss fans on this board, and there are quite a few, are pounding the other team, that really says something.

Any 'Noles betting on the Rebs?

FSU will be my only play tonight. It is a GOY type play. It's just a matter of deciding how much money I want to make tonight, and then putting that much on Florida St. The only reason I do not have 15* on it is because it's still early in the season, and nothing can be that certain right now.

Good luck!

shit! sorry guys:(

I truly didn't know the Rebs had it in them.

Sorry to disappoint this time. I'll make up for letting you down. We'll get it back.

How ignominious.

Crap Reb, the Noles laid down on ya. No big deal though, seen you too many times come back with win after win. GL the rest of the way and lets beat the man. GL
