Boston Celtics -12

Tons of points to lay..asking for trouble giving this many in any sport, but I feel it is warranted tonight. Warriors broke a 10 game losing streak last night, beating the fading Timberwolves in Minnesota. Now they have to travel to Boston with no rest and face a Celtic team needing every win they can down the stretch to try and overtake the Nets in the Atlantic Division and improve their playoff seeding in the Eastern Conference. Warriors have defeated Boston three straight times, including a 17pt victory at Golden State last month. Surely one of Boston's most humiliating defeats of the season..I think they will atone that loss tonight in a large fashion. Warriors continue to be the league's worst defensive team, allowing 106ppg on the road this season and have allowed 20 of their last 23 opponents to score over 100pts. Celts take out the whooping stick tonight and win by 15+.

Good luck!

no doubt a ml play for sure on boston...but why lay so many, if losing with a back door cover may spoil it ? boston may rest some starters toward the end, with the running dallas mavs on deck friday night...

I agree with ahjoah here.

Just because the Celtics are battling it out with Nets for topspot, doesn't mean they have to beat a team by 12+. If anything, they just need the win and should be more concerned with resting their starters.

Warriors avging 100.6 pts/game last 10. Celtics have yet to score over 112 in a game this year.

Ah, the very reason there is a Vegas.

Golden State just smoked the T'Wolves at home and now they're getting 12?? It can't be that easy, can it?

And that ladies and gents, is why books take money from 90+% of all punters.

I think it's more akin to the Nuggets beating the Knicks at MSG and then getting destroyed by the Bullets last night.

The Warriors' record is what it is. It's not a fluke. They played a helluva game last night against a fading team. I agree with Hoops, C's catch 'em here. Big time.

imho, the Warriors win over the T'wolves last nite was mostly motivated by Sczerbiak's comments after the trade...
i think they would have celebrated that one last nite and will be back to their normal road ways tonite

When I'm on the other side of Hoops, I probably win about 20% of the time. . . maybe the 20% will come up this time as I'm on the Warriors as well. . . really like the momentum they are riding in to this one.

I would say Golden State was a better team a month ago, in February...scores were much more competetive than they have been recently. This is a team that has lost 8 of their last 14 games by 12pts or more....

just wondering where do you find ATS records for look-ahead situations and what qualifies for a look-ahead situation?

Nice call by the Golden State backers, as Boston has been a no-show thus far...I think they will shoot better than 30% in the second half against the Warriors defense though and more than likely score tad more than 37 points..

Celtics -8 (2nd Half)

Walker  Guy hasn't seen a shot yet that he doesn't like. When he finally does hit one, he doed that shake and bake makes you want to pop him one. Battie no presence, Vitaly much better on the boards. Played the celts myself, back to the same poor shot selection, quick 3 or when in doubt throw it up and see what happens.
