Yea skarky, you had heard right. There was a possibilty of only 50 games being televised for the year. Arte broke off talks last week but thank god a television deal was reached on Monday. The contract includes the rights to 150 games. It would have really sucked if no tv deal was made.

So close on the Cards/Phils total. Sucks to leave them loaded on the bottom of the ninth. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm also kinda surprised the A's took 2 out of 3 from the Yanks. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, the Yanks seem to be slow starters. Hope my Halos can take 2 of 3 from the Bronx Bombers this weekend too.
