Big card today, here are my plays:
569 - Kansas -4 for 6 units - WIN ? Cole Aldrich should have a field day against Nebraska?s lack of a front-court. Jayhawks are playing well and showed last Saturday that they can easily take care of business on the road against far lesser foes. No look ahead in play either as this Saturday?s game against Colorado at home will be an exhibition in January.
529 Syracuse +2 for 3 units - LOSS ? Cuse looking to stop their slide and have to go on the road to visit the Friars. Providence has been shooting well, especially at home, but they have always struggled against Cuse?s zone and will do so here.
554 Villanova +4.5 for 3 units - WIN ? Two good defenses should keep this one close throughout. Nova is really sound and won?t let Pitt run away like they did in road games against WVU and Georgetown.
574 WI Milwaukee -5.5 for 2 units - WIN ? Panthers come home after two really bad games last week against Valpo and Butler. They shoot well at home and have the better front court than Loyola which will lead to an easy victory.
597 UConn -13 for 4 units - WIN ? DePaul continues to struggle while UConn is extremely hot. I expect them to try to perhaps play a zone to pack it in against Thabeet and Adrien which will leave the perimeter wide open. Even if that doesn?t happen and they play man, Koshwal is the really only inside presence for DePaul and he?s been known to get into foul trouble against good big guys, which will mean huge games for Thabeet and Adrien. Basically DePaul can?t defend this team in any fashion.
599 Missouri -4 for 3 units - LOSS ? Kansas State is on a slide that I think will continue all season.
576 Bradley -5.5 for 2 units - WIN ? Shockers liked the home cooking during their 3 game win streak, but they are back on the road tonight and get snapped back into the reality they are one of the lower tiered teams in the MVC.
