.....ok ok im kidding....just wanted to get the first post of a game in here to start off the year......I might throw 50 bucks on the doggers just to see how things go.....just feels kinda nice just to post on a baseball game even though it is the first preseason game....oh well.....thank god baseball is back

Like I said before, I am anti betting in the preseason personally, but thought I would give you the pitching matchups for tomorrow in case you didn't have them.

Dodgers are gonna throw out Nomo who I highly doubt will throw more than 18-22 pitches. Then Jose Lima, then Rick White (god help us), Masao Kido, Eric Knott, Augusto Montero, and Yhency Brazoboan (WHO????). All of them are righties.

Mets will start with Heilman who won't go more than 2 I think?, Jeremy Griffiths, Braden Looper, and John Franco(please retire already). All of them are righties except Franco.

I'll watch just because the dodgers are on and will be pulling for them, but I can't justify putting money on them or any meaningless game. ESPN will have tracey miked up throughout the game so that will be interesting to hear his interviews as the game progresss. He's always been a quietesque manager. Will be interesting to hear his takes.

you are prob right....I rarely bet any preseason....I love the regualr season more than any sport so I see no need throwing away my bankroll on these preseason battles......I have learned my lesson enough in the past...thats for sure.....but it will be nice...I think ESPN is televising 19 preseason battles...should be good.....I knew Nomo was gonna go...thanks for the stats on the rest of those guys....and yeah who the hell is Brazoboan.....Franco is old as dirt...I guess they are still desperate for lefties...speaking of lefties....my Angels bullpen needs at least one I would think

For what it's worth, and I am NOT betting this or any preseason game, I have a pretty strong lean to the Mets today. Just from the pitchers alone you are getting 4 from them who all have major league experience and aren't terribly awful. Dodgers have too many question marks from their expected rotation for the day. If I had to bet this game, I think a wager on the mets at +120 is worth the shot.
