Just playing one for right now.....I should be in bed.....Will update record and probably add a couple more Wednesday afternoon, but I wanted to get this one in tonight:

NEW YORK METS (+127) I am looking for the Mets to complete the sweep of the Phillies at their new park when Tom Glavine takes to the mound. He is 6-3 on the year with an impressive 2.17 ERA. His career numbers against Philly are also eye-catching, including a 24-11 record. Randy Wolf has also pitched well this year, but what concerns me is that he has been unable to get past the seventh inning of a game since missing a start with elbow tendinitis in early May. This will bring the Phillies bullpen into the equation in what should be a close game, and I can see the Mets pulling another one out late as they did Tuesday night when they scored 3 in the tenth.

Good Luck Boys,

Thanks a lot Guys.

I was lucky to sneak a couple out late last night, going 2-1 and getting June started in the right direction.

YTD 42-28 (+1470)

Adding one more for this afternoon:

OAKLAND ATHLETICS (-122) Man, I have watched all the money go the other way on this one since late last night, and I'm still not sure why? Perhaps it is the injury to Eric Chavez, and granted, I think the A's are going to miss Chavez over the next three weeks, who suffered a broken hand last night, but his career numbers against Buehrle were really not that impressive, hitting only .192 in 25 plate appearances versus the lefty. Maybe it is the fact that Mark Buehrle is going for the Sox, however, his career numbers are equally unimpressive versus Oakland (2-5 record in 9 games). Then, on the other hand, the Athletics are sending Mark Mulder to the mound with his 6-2 record and 3.00 ERA on the year. Mulder has dominated Chicago in his career, posting a 4-1 record with a stingy 2.31 ERA in 6 games. Finally, there is this whole "West Coast Factor" that I touched on last night with the White Sox. They are now 1-12 in their last 13 starts in Oakland. I'm looking for history to repeat itself.

Good Luck as always,

Sharky

Well Fellas, I don't like to do this a whole lot, but I like a few games tonight and am going to re-load with a few plays:

BOSTON RED SOX (-155) I was on the other side last night, and glad the Angels came back to earn the victory. However, I think it was a good thing Bronson Arroyo was on the mound though, and I don't think they are going to like what they see coming at them tonight nearly as much. Pedro is 8-1 with 1.42 ERA in 11 career games versus the Angels. I just don't see this injury depleted line-up having much success at the plate tonight.

TORONTO BLUE JAYS (+138) I wouldn't recommend anyone try this at home, but I am going to give this a shot (This is the ole' homer special). I have stayed up and watched the majority of the first two games of this series, and let's just say, it hasn't exactly been "poetry in motion". In fact, it has been downright ugly.....Lily has been much improved in his last few starts, and I think some of the guys getting a chance to play in place of the injured Hudson, Catalanatto and Delgado are starting to swing the bats much better. Couple this with Joel Pineiro's struggles to date this year (1-6 with a 5.74 ERA) and the Mariners' offensive problems, and I think the Jays have a legitimate shot.

Let's get some winners tonight. ;)
