day ball

Was/Atl Over 9 +107. One thing Randy Marsh's wife never tells him is that he is on time for dinner. Ump plays matter less early in the season as many umps swithch it up from previous years, but some are career umps for certain things. Randy Marsh is a career OVER ump. Braves hitters have had success with Ohka in the past. Andrew Jones has absolutely torched him(13 for 29 with 5 jacks) Brian jordan 4 for 6 with 2 jacks. Chipper Jones has struggled though. Thompson is going to be hard pressed to repeat his opening start numbers. Vidro has whacked him around a little. I'm a little leary as Washington may just want to get out of town for home opener, but I think Ohka might get shelled early.

Florida -144. When Jeff Conine goes to sleep each night his wet dreams aren't of hot chicks, they are of corey lidle. or at least of corey lidle pitching to him. Conine sports wood of 16 for 28 with 3 homers for a paltry .571 avg. Castillo 7 for 14 so that should mean some people on base for him. Nobody playing for Phils tomorrow have any kind of power numbers against Willis and Thome just 3 for 16 no long balls and 6 ks. Fish should win rather handily. I just don't trust em enough yet for runline.

Chicago Cubs -107. Wood has dominated all of the Padres hitters except for Brian Giles. Giles closes his eyes and swings as hard as he can against Wood going 5/23 with 4 of them yard. Cubs bats aren't super hot and Peavy might be the last guy you want to see, but Wood should be able to take them pretty late in game and they should be able to claw a few runs with small ball.

under the lights

Detroit/Minnesota Over 9.5. Not a whole lot to write-up on this one. Lohse and Johnson gonna give up runs. I played the under yesterday in this series, gonna switch tonight at a better total and hope the scoreboard operator has to work a lot.

LAD/SF Under 8 -111. I rarely play Dodger games, and certainly never a side, but this one just fits. Slugfest yesterday with the perfect outcome. Night air at Chavez will make the long ball that much harder. Perez and Tomko both have success against the other. See a 3-2 type game nailbiter.

200/214 Over 9 +107 Mon/Atl
288/200 Fighting Fish -144
321/300 Cubs -107
216/200 Over 9.5 -108 Min/Det
333/300 Under 8 -111 LAD/SF
