George Washington (ML+3.5) over West Virgina

Am I missing something? GW +3.5, is someone hurt or suspended that I haven't heard about?
GW looked sluggish playing Florida International the other night and still won by 10. FIU has played UConn, FSU and Miami (IMO some decent talent). WVU has played 1 team with a winning record (LSU) and 2 .500 teams (Radford and St. Peters). Granted WVU plays well at home but they try to hold their opponent to a low score. GW is a high scoring team and should cause a lot of problems for WVU. GW plays solid defense as well forcing 11 steals per game against some quality ball handling teams ( MSU, Maryland, Wake forest). GW will force the tempo and IMO west Virgina will be throw out of their comfort zone and shots will not fall with the ease they have against the New Hampshire's and James Madison's. WVU has a slight edge on height so the GW big men will have to battle for boards. I think WVU is a little overrated at this stage and GW even if they grid it out, should still come away with the win!

Cheers

GW's athleticism scares me...but, you are going against that unranked vs ranked trend. :)

WVU has 7 guys that can shoot the trey...they play 1-3-1 defense that I would think will cause GW some problems...another concern is that this game is a sell out...the Coliseum is a tough venue when packed to the rafters.

Irish,

My system has GW winning outright by 3 to 4 points but I backed off the play because WVU is usually pretty solid at home. GW has so much more talent then WVU that it would not be a shocker to see them pull away with this one. GL
