Happy New Year's Eve all! Please enjoy your night but remember to be safe.

TCU (-3) over Ol Miss
This to me is a mismatch on every level. Ol Miss was a good team that got hot and cooled off by seasons end. They lost their best WR and there is an ugly history between coach and QB in the past. Nothing sparks bad blood like losing and Ol Miss has struggled of late. On the reverse you have TCU. They were red hot of late and before the final weekend they were sitting at #3 in the playoff. Now they are in a New Year's Eve bowl. Are they motivated. Well in my opinion teams take on the emotions of the coach and Patterson isn't going to be happy about this and should look to make a statement. TCU is the nations number two scoring offense. A lot was made about the Ol Moss defense. They did give up points but this unit can play. 20 is the magic number. When Ol Moss hold a team under 20 they have won every time. That's interesting because TCU hasn't scored less than 30 all season. We have all seen Okie, Tex and WVU look bad on bowls so maybe those numbers are inflated. Still TCU has enough offense to keep Ol Miss guessing. Boykin has been playing great ball and can cause ah ok passing and running. Ol Miss will have to spy him which allows crossing routes to open in the second level. I just don't think Ol Miss has enough depth on defense to do what it has to do to stop TCU. Without Tredwill Ol Miss just is not scary on offense. TCU can play man and dial up pressure. This puts pressure on Bo Wallace and he is poor under pressure. All depends on if TCU wants to be in this game but I think they are trying to show the world they are a playoff team and the system is flawed. If they play like shit they show everyone they didn't deserve the consideration and Patterson does not want that press. TCU slowly pulls away and continues to open the gap late into the game.

TCU over 56

Arizona (-3) over Boise
This is the Jay Ajayi show. Boise goes as he goes. They is no doubt about it. Number 27 has 325 carries on the season, he also has 45 receptions. If you are scoring at home Boise has scored a total of 518 points this year. #27 has been responsible for 203 of them! That's responsible as he crossed the GL with the ball. Can rich rod stop #27? That's the only question in this game. Think about it guys. If Ajayi is triple covered and Does not get the ball. So if Boise average 47 points per game then Ajayi accounts for at least 17 of them. Don't get me wrong. Boise does rank 9th in scoring and 14th in total offense. Arizona is rubbish against the run. They are 72nd and that's just not good in this game. So what do I think. I think Arizona better have some Scooby snacks to stop Ajayi. Scooby Wright, Arizona best defensive player. This guy needs to have one thing on his plate all day and that find 27. Let the other guys play defense. Both teams should score. Arizona ranks 26th scoring 37 points per game. So I go back to our math equation from earlier in the class. If Boise scores 47 points per game. Ajayi accounts for 17 of them. Scooby stops Ajayi and they allow only 30 then Arizona wins by 7 if they hit their average. That's a lot of math for a man of humble means but I'll roll with it.

Using my equation I'll also buy the over.
It's 68 at my book so I'll buy it to 67.

I've done my part. Now Arizona stop #27.

TCU (-3.5) over Ol Miss
Ol Miss has to get one dimensional. They have to lean on Bo. I think TCU plays strong defense and force turn overs. Twist the knife and let the playoff committee be second guessed. You know Patterson is saying this second half is for all those that said we weren't good enough on paper.

Arizona (-1.5) over Boise 1H
Both team come out fired up and Arizona can keep Boise off balance for points.

GT (ML) 1H
Jackets triple option may be tough to figure out to start the game. Jackets surprise in the first half.
