I usually don't do week night games do to a large number of inconsistencies that come with those games unless I find a good one. Tonight's game the easy play seems like it should be West Virginia. West Virginia defense has been good on the road only giving up an average of 13.3 points. Cincy gives up an average of 23 points at home. Basically WV is going to run all over Cincy in this one. WV rushes on average 236 yards per game and Cincy at home gives up yards on the ground an average of 212 yards a game. West Virginia should be able to cover the chalk on this one. WV is a little banged up which worries me a little but I'm still going to make the play.

Injuries: If anyone has any updated info on these injuries it would be appreciated.

Does anyone know anything about White? Is he any good? But WV will most likely be running the ball against Cincy. Still trying to make up my mind.

Chulk up the W

Chulk up the W

Great win tonight and Congrats to all who took WV! Didn't have the balls to play the under. Who would have thought that Cincy wouldn't even score. As soon as they said Cincy was starting 5 true freshmen on defense I knew this one was in the bag. And did you see Cincy's nonexistent crowd for the game this one had blowout written all over from the start. Great payoff for sitting on the computer all day reading about this game. :mj14:  :thumb:

nice win thom. good start to the week. cincy will be fine though. they got it handed to 'em early, but theyre nowhere near as bad as they played tonight. dantonio knows what hes doing. problem tonight was that wvu getting up a few scores totally took away cincy's strength, which is the run game. they were moving it pretty well in the 1h but then had to abandon it and go to the air. theyll be much improved next year. but you were on the right side tonight. good call.

Thanks Gman

Thanks Gman

Gman, they have some talent thats for sure. But they are a young football team and will need some time to grow. They have the potential to be a solid cover team in the future. WV knows they have a BCS bid on the line and they were going to be up and ready for this one. The game did show me a stat that has me back on ND for this week. Navy only 6 returning starters, I love it ND will smash them at home. I saw another thread about the game and he was talking about how good Navy's defense is. Well they have 7 new starters on defense and against that offense they don't stand a chance. I can't see ND letting up either as they try to get an at-large bid for an BCS bowl.
My wish for Christmas is Ohio State Vs Notre Dame!
The Navy +23.5 guy kind of reminds me of the Kansas +33 guy :mj07:

normally, navy would be worth a look. but one area where they are VERY vulnerable is the secondary. a few weeks ago, when kent state was actually playing hard, that was the basis for a strong play kent, because the flashes can throw the football. and they tore apart the navy secondary. and thats a mediocre mac team doing that. where am i going with this? well, notre dame can certainly throw the football. and thats reason enough to lay off of navy. now as far as the kansas (+33), i can see that one having some value. im not sure texas just pisses all over kansas. theyll win. but jayhawks have a better shot of covering the number than navy imo, though neither dog is particularly appealing.
