ok, probably the only CAA game i'll play this week.
toledo (PK) 2 units. ball state beat toledo by 13 just over 3 weeks ago. they are in first place in the west division (toledo is tied for last). they opened as a 1-point favorite. 90% are on ball state. and yet the line dropped to a pk. maybe the cardinals are looking ahead to their matchup with tennessee state this weekend? hmmmm....
William & Mary (+2.5) 2 units. if it was just william OR mary, i'd be concerned. but i'm getting both of them, PLUS a couple points? sign me up. bill is a clamp-down defender who can shut down 4 guys by himself, and mary is deadly in the paint.
marshall (+4.5) 1 unit. houston should be favored by at least 2 more points. i smell another fishy line....
south florida (+5.5) 1 unit. i don't know that georgetown should be laying points to anybody on the road in the big east.
west virginia (-9.5) 3 units. where to start? 82% on notre dame, and yet the line is inching up. nd has covered, what, 1 of their last 9 games? west virginia is 2nd in the country in 3-point defense, allowing opponents to hit 26.6%. west virginia really isn't that good, but they'll get it done somehow tonight. OH... and one more factor... i will always bet against a road team led by tory jackson at the point.
northwestern (-1.5) 2 units. i really like what northwestern is doing at home this year. ohio state is 1-4 in conference against teams not named 'indiana'. plus, the buckeyes have a revenge game on tap against illinois.
