well, the great run of last week is probably over. only 0-1 last night, but what a spectacular loss it was. i do have a question... is ANYBODY on uconn tonight?
indiana (+4) 2 units. another game it looks like almost everybody is on one side, and yet the line is dropping. purely based on the numbers, northwestern should be laying about 6.5, so this line was fishy to start with. and now it's dropped 1/2 point to 4. hmmm... actually, this one is very simple. as improved as northwestern is this year, it's almost all at home. they are 1-5 in conference road games (with the one inexplicable win at michigan state). i can't lay 4 points on a road favorite who is 1-5.
uconn (+1) 1 unit. i have to do it. the entire world is on marquette. i also think marquette is the play. the loss of dyson will really hurt against such a guard-oriented team as marquette. but how often is the entire world right when betting on a basketball game? if only i could do the smart thing, and stay off the game.
