Wednesday, May 29th - Boston Celtics vs. NJ Nets

With the series tied at 2-2, tonight we are back in the Meadowlands where they Nets will try to take that all important 3-2 lead. The under is now 6-2 in the eight meetings between these teams this season. Over the last 3 contest, the total has been set at 187 or 187 1/2 and all three have gone under. But during this 3 game span, each game has steadily increased in points.

Tonight Boston must run with the NBA's best running team in the business to have a chance to win this one, and backed by the Celtics 3 point bombers I look for a high scoring game. With the steady increase in points scored in the past 3 games, tonight the streak of the under cashing will be snapped!

Your selection for tonight, play OVER in this one. Baseball fan's, play under the total in ESPN's Day Game Brewers vs. Dodgers.

See you tomorrow,

shannon 71- the nets are a controlled running team that scores just as many points in half court as they do in transition. i can think of at least 10 teams that run on a more consistent basis. the points have increased but that was because of some helter-skelter ball because of large leads-last game was a exception-both teams shot better and the nets got a few more second chances- this game like most game 5 when teams are tied 2-2 in conference championships the under hits at 77% clip. and these teams play good d along with the fact they are not great shooting teams i will take the under. gl on your play -just do not understand your statements

A good argument would be that the Nets average something like 10 more points at home than on the road. I'm not sure if that's right, but I think I read it somewhere. This is probably because they run the ball so much more and shoot it better at home.
