notre dame (+5) over boston college
notre dame (+175) over boston college
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
maryland/virginia over the total (got some at 155, still waiting)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

terps/cavaliers are one of my two obligatory 'over plays' (the other being pepperdine/gonzaga). when gillen and williams matchup, they are more than willing to trade baskets with each other. maryland hasnt been scoring quite as much this year, but im not gonna overthink this one. last ten meetings have been absolute run-n-gun shootouts. been playing this maryland/virginia over trend for the last three meetings. not about to stop now.

ND is good at taking care of business vs the bottom half of the Big East - I think that's a strong one.

GL tonight.

played this one as soon as it came out:

(thursday)
gonzaga/pepperdine over 158.5

ironic that both of my 'matchup overs' are on back-to-back nights. i think this number will hit 160+ on thursday. gonna grab the # now

tried to warn you

i am more than open to constructive criticism. but "i warned you" offers me little. irish down 3 with 0:30 and lose by 7. not the first time im gonna lose a dog on free throws, nor will it be the last.
got no problem with any critique of the game, how it played out, where they failed or whatever. but "i tried to warn you" offers me little

i very rarely, and i mean VERY rarely, get offended. i dont take myself too seriously. i am open to people breaking balls and all that. its all good, no problem. the "i told you so" posts on any forum are the ones that annoy me, simply because none of us are omniscient. but its all good, no sweat. i know its hard to detect tone of a post on a screen sometimes.

Gman..............dont blame you a bit for the reply. If some one posted "tried to warn you" after I lost a close game I would be pissed. That king of garbage is uncalled for.

Actually Notre Dame has been pretty fair on the road anyhow......

Lost at Marquette by 13
won by 13 at Depaul
won by 4 at Villanova
lost by only 3 at Pitt
won at Virginia Tech by 11
lost by 11 at Rutgers

So they have played a lot better on the road than at home anyway...............

thanks for the post. mjalam is a good guy. its not like it was an anonymous lurker trying to stir trouble. it still rubbed me the wrong way, but i know he isnt a bad guy or a shit-starter. just puzzled me after a tough loss in the final seconds (not to mention the uncharacteristic bricks from the line and turnovers from maryland and virginia to kill what started off as an easy over in the 1st half) thx mav. gl tomorrow
