YTD: (7-4) +105

Penguins -1/2 (-155) **

Pittsburgh is 12-0 lifetime against the Thrashers. Lemieux won't allow the Pens to lose a game such as this, especially at home. Hedberg gets his first start of the season tonight. I expect him to play well.

Kings -1/2 (+110) **

Los Angeles won the season series against Anaheim last year (4-0-1). The Ducks are (0-4-2) in their last 6 games against their crosstown rivals. Potvin owns a (14-3-6) career record against Anaheim with a 2.24 GAA. The Ducks' penalty killing has been atrocious so far this season (66.7%). The only thing that concerns me a little bit, is a possible overlook by the Kings towards tomorrow's home game against Colorado. Having said that, I still feel very comfortable laying a double play on the Kings tonight.

Good luck guys!

Found a little gem as I was going through my hockey stats, but still decided to go against it tonite. Can't seem to find it now, but I know for a FACT that.........

LAKings are UNDEFEATED in the game prior to playing Colorado, both home and road, in the last 2 years. Something like 8-0-1.

Good luck tonite.

Good catch Cooz! Hedberg did start the season opener. He allowed 6 goals. Looking for him to rebound with a solid performance tonight against the hapless Thrashers. Good luck tonight!
