It's gotten to where I just watch the 10-pin after I release the ball. Strike or 10-pin, strike or 10-pin.

I miss the old days where you had to hit a board but I understand USBC needing bowlers so why not open the shot up?

If you shot that opening night I don't think averaging 215-220 will be a problem. Now, knock out some 300's!

Yeah the synthetic lanes will most certainly make the scores go up. I moved 3 boards all night and used to move about 10.

Well.....after not picking up a bowling ball in over a year, and not bowling in a league for ten, I'd say I did pretty good.

179, 222, 237, for a 638- which gives me a 213 average. Damn that felt good to get back into bowling- I missed it more than I thought! :00hour
