Frustrating day on Tuesday dropping a unit plus juice...
Going with these for Wednesday:
UIC +4.5 over W. Michigan: Really, really like this one. W. Mich has had a poor finish to season after a hot start. They are up against a very solid UIC team who will be looking to make a run in this tourney. I like the visiting flames here. Dime play.
Providence +2 over Richmond: Richmond is a tough place to play, but the Spiders have struggled against quality opponents. I have liked this Friar team all year long and think they will have a good showing in the NIT. Nickel play.
LaLaf +5.5 over UAB: UAB had a wild run, didnt it? That was amazing, and they almost squeaked into the big dance. Unfortunately, they now hit the little dance. I think LaLaf will be a formidable opponent for them, and one that will be looking to do some damage in this tourney. Nickel play.
Minny +5.5 over St. Lou: The only question I have here is the Gophers' motivation. I am a bit worried they might just mail this in. But on second thought, I think not. They were absolutely embarassed losing to NW and forking over their tournament hopes. Monson has a chance to prove his mettle here, and I think he gets this team focused to win this game. Nickel play.
