Goood luck everyone!! :firing: :toast: :0074 :spotting: :em71: :drinky: :mj06:
MLB parlays this season: 1-20, +8.0 units (risk 1 unit each pick)... winner #1 posted Monday, August 14th...
Oakland Baltimore 3:05 Manaea (Bundy - Manaea really been struggling. He did managed to allow just 3 ER his last start - but gave up 2 homers and 6 hits in the process. Tho his 2 SO equaled the total SO he had in his 3 previous outing! Seems to me the long season is tiring the young feller. Now he faces an offense that is very strong vs lefties at home. However, the long season not tiring Bundy, Orioles gave him some time off, so he comes in this fresh. I'm on Balt RL
Milwaukee San Francisco 3:45 Garza (Moore - Garza had decent start sandwiched between bad ones at CO and MN, so I see him being decent again - in this park and against these bats..Moore has two stellar starts in a row, and it is rare when he pulls off a third!...I'm on Milk..
Dodgers Pittsburgh 7:05 Hill (Williams - Dodgers -1.5 natch.....Since June 7th, the Dodgers are 55-10 (3 losses in June, 3 losses in July, 4 in August already). A bettor risking $100 on them each game would have won $1,977.
They've closed at -200 or higher 32 times in this span.
Recent form: WWWWWWWWLLWWWWWWWWWWLWWWWLWWLWWWWWWLWW -- LAD have failed to cover the -1.5 line in 2 of last 8 wins.
81.57% of Dodgers road victories have covered the 1.5 runs (31 of 38) this season.
Miami Phila 7:05 Nicolino (Leiter - Nicolino continues to do well with mixing up his now 4 good pitches...Leiter has a nice upside, it should show at home here after a lesser road start. I'm taking the under.
Yankees Detroit 7:10 Severino (Zimmermann - Severino just being the Ace he is, but Zimmermann has reverted back to Zimmermann after a run of 3 good performances. He's been tweaking his mechanics of late, and changing his pitching stance. Yanks are not a tema ya wanna test new tweaks on.. But with all the hard hit balls he gives up, and HRs, tweaking here and there ain't gonna help that much in the long run!. and when he comes out of the game, you have Yanks getting to bat against about the worst pen in MLB..Tigers a miserable 3-13 of late....NYY RL!
Arizona N.Y. Mets 7:10 Godley (Flexen - dunno what's up with Godley's command last few starts, I don't see much problem other than bad night with some mistakes, so I trust he should be darn good here vs these bats...Flexen been himself, lots of walks and HR, but manages to limit the runs vs lesser batting teams. But AZ not one of those, I'm on AZ...prolly RL..
Chi. Cubs Cinci 7:10 Montgomery (Wojciechowski - Monty wasn't very good his last turn in the rotation, but ended on a good note (1 ER in 6 innings at ATL, and even got his 1st career HR) He understood why he got moved back to the pen (his ERA there less than half his ERA as a starter) but he's back now for a spot start and it's on the road vs Cinci, so could be pretty tough...Asher was shelled by these Cubs last week, and has been giving up lots of HR in his last few starts, so I'm looking at that over!
Boston Cleveland 7:10 Pomeranz (Kluber - Yeah, I'm thinking a pitcher duel, can easily happen with Porter calling balls and strikes...Pomeranz gives up lots of walks, and patient Cleve batters (among the top in league drawing walks) will work him pretty hard. So I do like Cleveland RL too.
Toronto Tampa Bay 7:10 Stroman (Pruitt - Stroman been strong, about a 2.0 ERA last 10 starts..Pruitt inconsistent like lots of young guys, but I think he'll have a decent one at home here, coming off his worst of the season..still, All 6 Pruitt starts have gone under. Rays are 15-4 to the under this month..So I like the under yet again (like last night, which lost...)
Seattle Atlanta 7:35 Ramirez (Dickey - I'm going with the Braves here...I can't see Ramirez having 3 good starts in a row, and Dickey "had one of those days" where his knuckleball was not working in his last start, so I'm hoping it will here. Who knows? Dickey won't until he starts warming up tonight...and maybe Ramirez has at least an ok night (as these are ATL bats after all) I'm on the under too...I read "Under is 24-9-3 in ATL last 36 home games."
Washington Houston 8:10 Jackson (Fiers - Jackson turned in some fine starts of late, that's what pitching vs SF and at SD will do for ya, but maybe helped his confidence some...I don't think Fiers has turned a corner in his recent good starts, good chance these WA bats will make him the Fiers we all know - this juicy dog price is too much to pass up!
Minnesota White Sox 8:10 Santana (Shields - Santana been slipping bit of late as expected (but we expected much more by now), but he's always done well against CWS, let alone when they had a lineup like now..Shields ya notice been better of late, he's been experimenting with a new pitching angle and it's working...so I'm on the under...
Colorado Kansas City 8:15 Senzatela (Kennedy - now, watch these CO road bats make even Kennedy look like a decent pitcher! KS at home needing wins bad this low line, I'm on it...
San Diego St. Louis 8:15 Chacin (Weaver - woah, Chacin had a good road start recently vs LAD, but always doubt if that can continue...Weaver getting better and better, esp those strikes. I think he'll sieze this opportunity vs these SD bats...so I'm on STL, hope Weaver can go deeper an keep that STL bullpen to minimal innings...
Texas L.A. Angels 10:08 Cashner (Heaney - ESPN - well, I'll take the dog here like I expect everyone else if for obvious reasons (sounds like a trap!)...we are expecting Heaney to continue to shake off the rust and have the typical slow adjustment after TJS, but maybe not....
Miami Marlins/Philadelphia Phillies Under 10 (-105)
