Well the Dodgers are making their traditional dive to the bottom at the end of the year.
Tollberg has been a very solid bet this year with the Padres going 11-4 when he takes the mound and he has a ERA of 4.04 in those starts, the Padres are 3-0 in his last 3 starts, he is 5-3 on the road ERA of 3.98, 3-1 at night and he is 0-1 in 3 starts against the Dodgers. Baldwin started out good as a Dodger but has really returned to form with the Dodgers going 2-6 in his last 8 starts, he is 0-3 ERA of 9.00 in his last 3 starts.
SD is 38-32 as a road dog, 21-17 as a road dog of +125 to +175, 69-71 on grass, 45-54 at night, 40-34 on the road and 56-49 against righties batting .256 as a team on the road against them. The Dodgers are 30-28 as a home favorite, 14-15 as a home fav. of -150 to -200, 77-63 on grass, 41-33 at home, 59-49 at night and 56-51 against right handers batting .218 as a team in their last 10 games.
We all know how bad the Dodger bullpen is and the Padres should get to it early. The Padres are 13-8 in LA over the last 3 seasons, the Padres avg. 5.8 runs a game on the road while the Dodgers avg. 4.1 at home and not to mention the home plate ump Ron Kulpa favors the visiting team with them going 23-8 when he is back there add all these together and I will take my chances with the Padres at +155!
