I really think this series will go the distance. I'm not sure the Avs will win the series but I do think they will get game 1. Turco has been out (suspension) and little rusty around the edges could cost Dallas a costly goal. Kariya is injured for the Avs which, as always, means the rest of the players will need to step up. The Avs are a team that you don't want to give a reason for them to step up because they will. Look for Forsberg to turn it on big time because I have a feeling this is it for him in the NHL. I'm not exactly sure of the stats but I think the Avs are known for getting the first game at the start of the playoffs... Having said all that, I also know that the Avs have always had trouble with Dallas. I think Dallas has gotten the upper hand in the past.
