Wednesday plays

Can't believe hockey season is already here. I have been looking forward to this season. Can't wait for all of the quality cappers and great guys to come back to this forum. Let's see if we can pick up where we left off, with some winners I watch 2-3 games a night when possible via NHL Centre Ice and take notes during all of the games I watch. I have 2 TV's side by side so I can watch 2 games at once, pretty sick huh? I put a lot of time into this and hopefully we all can cash a lot of winners this year.

I have about $7,000 set aside for my hockey bankroll this year. I am going to begin the year playing $100-300 per play.

These two jump out at me for Wednesday.

Phoenix + 1/2
Dallas + 1/2

I like both on the puck line. Also might like the overs if they come out at 5, no play at 5 1/2.

I will try and post some of my reasons for these two plays before the puck drops Wednesday

homer- thanks for the post- I think Gretsky puts something in the Coyotes water before Kings' games. Plus I see the Coyotes improving whereas the Kings might decline a little- Felix the Cat did not look great in the pre-season.....

Amonte should be a big plus for the Yotes

SJ- Once I have kids I do not see it happening, luckily my wife puts up with my hockey obsession She has another TV in the same room mounted to the wall to watch her programs and she gets the sound, I think it is a pretty fair trade off. Our family room is like an air traffic control room.

Hope all is well with the little one, what position is he going to play?

Believe you me my friend once you start having kids things will change! My wife and I have an 18 month old daughter who has taken over the 50 in. Mitsubishi HDTV to watch Barney and the gang leaving me with my 20 + in. t.v. to squint at in my office. Psyched for the NHL season to kick off and I am looking forward to your knowledge and insight of the NHL throughout the season. Good luck $$$$

good luck chenker, new job means i wont be around during the day on game days, will be reading the night before and then watching when i get home..no feeling for dallas at col, have to watch a couple before i speculate at all, but of course all the stars' fan are excited about the season, guess we'll see.
really like a future bet at olympic on flyers under 15.5 pts for month of october, only play 10 games.. and first 3 in Canada. steep vig(-140) but really like it. wrote about it in 1837's thread...check it out

also i want to see how this hurry-up faceoff plays out, interesting to note, this article had to do with stars color commentator and how he cant ramble on during stoppages now with the changes..

"It all has to do with the NHL's new fast-line-change rule designed to speed up the game.
There will be no more loitering, no more waiting for Godot to step in for a face-off.
The NHL has slapped time limits on the visiting and home teams to make their line changes. The league promises the new limits will be strictly enforced.
The idea is to shave 15 to 20 minutes off the time it takes to play a game.
If players stand around for shorter periods, Strangis and Reaugh have less time to schmooze. Reaugh has less time to analyze.
The ever-meticulous Reaugh and his friends at Fox Sports Net have already put a stopwatch to tapes of last season's games.
Reaugh says they found face-off stoppages averaged about 43 seconds..During the just-concluded exhibition season, they averaged 24 seconds.

I am going to coattail your Phoenix play. With you and Nick D on it I feel this one is worth a shot. Plus sia moved the +.5 line to +120. That is decent value considering most books have the ML at +130-140. So I am going to put a small amount on PHO at +.5. Still searching for some dogs in ncaa fb but don't have any real strong leans yet. Penn St and Missouri look pretty good though.
