I shouldn't be laughing when people are having a hard time but you guys maintain a pretty good attitude through your losing streaks, you have my admiration for that ability. TTM$, if you don't mind I will address you as Anthony, I think I had the mother of all losing streaks once upon a time, I dropped 17 straight plays in the NBA over a 5 day period. 17 IN A PHUCKING ROW!! And every single one of them was for a nickel. I'll never understand why but it just happens sometimes, the really tough part is to stick with your proven methods and ride it out and it also points out why money managements is so absolutely critical.
On the subject of players, I wonder when the fans are going to get tired of players ending up in jail, having tantrums on the court, giving just enough effort to make it to the locker room, etc, and when management realizes that the product they are putting on the floor isn't going to sell. I read an article last night in which the Portland ownership publicly apologized to their fans about the recent problems in their team and said they would be looking for players that reflected ownership's personal philosophy in the future (whatever that means, I suppose they're saying they will try to find people who don't get locked up on a regular basis).
Where, oh where, is another Michael Jordan? Or Larry Byrd? Or Magic? At least with those guys you KNEW that you would get 100% EVERY SINGLE NIGHT on both ends of the court. Personally, I wish they would dump some of these guys like Rasheed Wallace - permanently - and bring in some less-talented but harder working players who give us, the fans, what we pay for.
Who ARE the hard working guys in this business? They bring it EVERY day for the ENTIRE game? Let's pick an all star team based upon those attributes, not stats.
