Not exactly getting any breaks since Sunday. Guess I'm paying the price for clearing 25 units that day; given about a third of that back over the past 2 days on bases so I'm kind of thinking that I should be done with baseball, already?very frustrating past couple of days. I'm going to (try, try, try) be pickier on my selections, I'm hoping. I'll keep 'capping right through the playoffs as I'm so close to the end, now, but I can't handle another day like the past couple for the remainded of the regular season?fvck that. Monday is what an 0 for 4 and then Tuesday I'm looking great right through until about 10 to 10 when things totally fall apart. The joy of victory followed immediately by the agony of @$#^it all to hell. Crap I'm still steamed. I hope the Giants get moved to Tokyo. Amazing that the Pirates at least held on...thought that one was going to get away too. Should take the day off, but lots of high calls presenting themselves today so I don't know what to do; might try some parlay combo's or runlines, but I'll have to look a little deeper into the contests.
Whatever is a system pick is?I don't really care about them anymore, this month, as they're jinxed. Staying alive with other calls, apparently. Mets, Brewers, Jays and Padres look like the most probable winners, as the list claims; Humber is worth a shot in his first ML start as Bacsik is down into fade territory and the Mets should feast as he's a lefty. Brewers in a total mismatch?the cinch game of the day, from all appearances?runline looks totally safe, so I'll be (am) there; moneyline parlay, maybe, as it looks like a real safe call. Jays give Halladay his last start and I'd say that there's a good 50% chance that he completes the game, as he's been apt to do during the second half of the season; Victor coming off a solid performance but if any team in the bigs knows his weaknesses it should be the Jays as they let him go (thank Hendrix) after giving him an opportunity earlier this season; Jays bats looked very lively yesterday. Peavy will toss a great game; that's the safest call one could make for any of tomorrow's contests; he's facing the fairly tame Giants, who have been hitting for a few days now but will undoubtedly be grabbing a lot of pine in this one; Misch looked pretty good in the one that I saw him pitch, but he is a lefty which gives the Padres a bit of a break; I can't see the Padres losing this game but I'm not sure if I like the runline (not really).
I've got to look at totals further before I can do anything with them. Actually, I'm already on that San Fran game under?need some Peavy action somehow and I'm guessing that he'll keep things low.
Will post what's played.
My winning's been stayed.
